Spacious Neocolonial 1928 Apartment is a freshly renovated residence at the ground-floor of a neo-colonial building, located on the immediate vicinity of the University of Havana. Home to our family for many years, it has a long-standing history that goes from the 18th century Royal Mills that watered Old Havana during colonial times; through the construction of the Fortress El Príncipe following the invasion of the British during the 18th century; to the clandestine student fights in the 1930’s and 1950’s in the first half of the 20th century.

Our house is located in the right vicinity of the University of Havana and the colonial Royal Mills, at the border between Vedado, Centro Havana and Cerro neighborhoods. With a beautiful and historical green park (Parque Aguirre), where all the revolutionaries used to gather, at one of its corners; and an elementary and junior high school (Escuela Felipe Poey Aloy) at the other, the area is very green, safe and lifefull. Here you can find neo-colonial three-story buildings from the 1920’s and independent houses from the 1930’s, sidewalks with tropical plants, local markets, cafeterias and restaurants. It’s just a 15-minute walk to the Malecón (Havana sea wall and promenade) and to the Revolution Square, respectively, and 25-minute walk to the Capitol.

Featured a dining room with a table for six and a tall refrigerator cozy inner courtyard with lush plants, a fully equipped kitchen with a gas cooker, cooking and serving appliances. Bedroom 1: double bed (140 x 190 cm), cupboard, clothing rack, air-conditioning . Bedroom 2: two single beds (90 x 190 cm), clothing rack, air-conditioning, armchair. An extra locked closet can also be used to keep luggage. Living room / bedroom 3: This room is a living room ready to be transformed into an independent bedroom with a transformable sofa-bed (1,40 x 190 cm), clothing rack, air-conditioning , large bathroom: hot and cold water, shower, WC, washbasin, hair dryer, separate WC next to the kitchen.
