Carrown Tober House is an Irish Tourist Board 4 star, purpose built family-run guesthouse located within walking distance of Oughterard village, the 'Gateway to Connemara'.

Our well-appointed guest bedrooms are equipped with television, Wi Fi internet connection and hair dryers. Orthopaedic beds, power showers and complimentary toiletries are provided ensuring you enjoy a comfortable stay. Other amenities at Carrown Tober House include a guest lounge, mature gardens and private parking on site. Pets are welcome to stay outside.

An extensive breakfast menu is served in our sunny dining room which enjoys views of our landscaped gardens.

Oughterard, situated on the shores of Lough Corrib is renowned for its beautiful scenery and has many restaurants, shops & traditional pubs for you to discover, all within walking distance of Carrown Tober House. There is no end to the selection of outdoor activities which include walking, hill-climbing, fishing, cycling, cruising & golf. The spectacular sights of Connemara are all within easy reach, these include Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, Aughnanure Castle and Inishbofin Island.
