Manossyros

The hostel is very beautiful! The room we got was very nice and comfortable, nice decorations and very near the beach. The owner came to take us to the port and when we got to the hostel he received us very nicely, giving us water and beers and giving us the choice between 3 rooms; he also helped us to rent a scooter and with the timetible of the local busses! Brilliant! Nothing to complain and Syros is a very beautiful island, we would have liked to stay more! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

We had a wonderful time at this place. The hosts were very helpful and friendly, they picked up us up from the port and even gave us a ride into town one day. He was kind and gave lots of useful recommendations. It is about 100m from a nice small beach with a beach cafe. The bus stops right by the place to go into the main town and they helped us organise renting a moped to explore the island. The place was very clean and had a calm, relaxing atmosphere.

You really need your own transport for this island. I got a bus to the location but then hired a quad for the test of my time there. Rooms were great with private bathroom and fridge. Near to several beaches. No vibes though.
