L'Ecolodge Rio Elemento è una grande villa vicino al fiume principale di Minca, un po' più a valle delle famose cascate Pozo Azul. Si trova a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro della città, dove si trovano la maggior parte dei ristoranti, delle caffetterie, dei bar e degli uffici dei trasporti. Arroccata in cima a 2 ettari di giardini tropicali, la Villa vanta una piscina di 30 metri, bar, ristorante, amache giganti, WiFi, terrazza per prendere il sole e fare yoga a bordo piscina, docce calde, dormitori con bagno, mountain bike, escursioni, piscina e personale che parla spagnolo e inglese.

The hostel is so nice. It's riverfront so you can bath in the river. There are a swiming pool, swing, hammock and giant hammock. Dorm was good. You have locker too if you need it. It's a little bit away from the small centre, but it's in a better way if you want to trek by yourself. The only thing was the restroom is not so clean, maybe because you are in the jungle, but it's a nice place. I'll suggest you

Pool was green. So many bees at the breakfast area so be aware if you order the pancakes🍯to be safe take breakfast to the pool area they don’t seem to bother you there. Spent the majority of my stay with no wifi and one night with no power- no ac. Location is ideal as close to town and flat compared to most other hostels but the road is not well paved. Overall it is a nice place to stay but definitely has its flaws

I think this hostel almost has it right but not quite. Awesome relaxing jungle setting by the river, but plays EDM loudly at the bar all day until 10pm. Confused about if its trying to be a party hostel? Located near town which is great for your first day or two in Minca to get the lay of the land, but other hostels played music till 2am so it was again pretty noisy. Big problem with bees in breakfast area, had to walk a few mins to the pool to eat.
