Guesthouse COCO (Female Only)

The hostel was lovely and cosy. The beds were comfortable and everything felt clean. There were also lots of toiletries available- and the tea/coffee provided was lovely. It was ideally located next to the station and a street car station for getting around Hiroshima. It was quiet and not very social, but a lovely base to explore the surrounding area. Just to be aware you can’t be in the hostel between 10am - 12noon whilst cleaning takes place. This wasn’t a problem for me as I was out anyway.

Staff are nice and the facility is very clean! However, a streetcar line is just right outside the hostel, sp if you are sensitive to noises, this location might not be the best for you. I was given a bed on the top bunk, I asked for a bottom bunk, but the staff at the counter couldn't explain why I can't have the bottom bunk even though no one was occupying any of the lower bunks during my stay. Anyway, I still enjoyed my stay, thank you!

My stay at Coco was good, the guesthouse is very cosy with a lot of travel recommendations and there is free good coffee and tea! However be aware that the guesthouse is not very spacious and the owner holds some meetings in the afternoon sometimes, which makes it not easy to rest at any moment of the day.
