Highly recommend Guesthouse Mii for anyone planning a trip to Osaka! The owner, Mii, is incredibly helpful and friendly, and made my time in the city so enjoyable. I had a private room at the guesthouse, and while it was pretty basic, it was very clean, with a nice view and good heating (it was late November). The toilet facilities were also great, and again, extremely clean and well maintained. The location was superb, super close to Dotonbori and the subway to Osaka/Shin-Osaka. Would absolutely stay here

The hostel has a super chill vibe in the bar/common area, the room was comfy with A/C in the summer, the location is awesome, and it's very clean. It is a bit noisy being on a busy street, but that didn't bother us. What really gives this one a 10/10 is the owner, Mii. She's super friendly and obviously puts a lot of care into the place. I was sick one of the days I stayed there and she helped my travel-mate find the right medicine, with us not speaking Japanese, and gave me a big bottle of water. Will defi
