Central Hostel is a newly refurbished place, with the state of the art 16-bed capsule beds and 8 private rooms. Each bed comes equipped with your large locker, comfortable reading lights, privacy curtain, and ample electrical outlets all in your private capsule. Also, our vanity areas.

We have a communal area for socializing, and a communal kitchen to serve up a meal. The entire area is covered illuminated to increase comfort and also we have a beautiful garden where you can relax.

If you are planning a trip around Antigua Guatemala and you want quality, fun and budget accommodation then you will love Central Hostel. We have the best socializing atmosphere and delicious pancake breakfast in the country.

Central Hostel Terms & Conditions:

Cancellation policy:

1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Enjoy flexibility with our 2-day cancellation policy prior to arrival. Please note that late cancellations or no-shows will be charged for the first night of your stay.

Check-in: 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight).

Check-out: Before 11:00 AM.

Payment: Accepted upon arrival in cash, credit card, and debit card. If you choose debit or credit card, there is an 8% surcharge on the total reservation cost.

Taxes: Please note that taxes are not included in the price and amount to 22% (12% VAT and 10% tourist tax).

Breakfast: Included in your stay!

Il Central Hostel ad Antigua offre un'atmosfera accogliente con personale gentile e disponibile. Gli ospiti apprezzano le strutture pulite, la cucina ben attrezzata e la piacevole area giardino. La colazione, spesso a base di pancake, è un punto forte. Sebbene alcuni trovino la posizione un po' distante dal centro, è generalmente considerata sicura e comoda. È adatto a viaggiatori che cercano un soggiorno rilassato.

They are not in the city center. Its difficult to understand the adress (they have 3 different locations). The pod beds are ok, but makes a lot of noise when someone moves. The breakfast is not good, just pancakes. The showers are good and warm.

Really nice hostel with great private rooms and facilities. Very tidy and organised. Location a bit out of the centre but ok if you don’t mind a slightly longer walk. Hard to find the hostel location on the map and even if I input the address into maps it was still incorrect. However, great stay and lovely staff.

If you are looking for somewhere simple, safe, but no frills, this place is decent. Me and my partner stayed in a private room and it was relatively spacious. However, the bathroom set up is a little odd - the shower is in the centre of the bathroom so there is no way to shower without the whole room getting wet. The room also had a musty smell. A highlight of this place is how close we were to all the attractions, very walkable. The staff and owner were also very friendly and helpful.
