Just a few minutes walk from El Nido town, OIA is beachfront social hostel made for backpackers who want to meet people, explore Palawan and experience something a little different from the usual hostel scene.

With only 32 beds, we're small enough that you'll actually get to know the people you're staying with. Grab a beer at sunset, find your island-hopping crew, join a game night or end up exploring Palawan with people you met the night before. 🌴

And yes... we're right by the sea. 🌊

Wake up in El Nido, walk outside and you're already on the beachfront.

We're not a massive party hostel.
We're a 32-bed social hostel where it's actually easy to meet everyone.

Some nights are lively. Some nights are chilled. Sometimes there's live music, sometimes everyone's playing games, and sometimes it's just beers and conversations while watching the sunset.

Our goal is simple:

Travelers meet fellow Travelers and locals.
Solo travelers find their crew.
Strangers become friends.
And you leave El Nido with memorable stories. 🌴

📍 FINDING OIA — READ THIS!

⚠️ Google Maps can sometimes send you the difficult way.

The easiest route is to walk along the beach, pass TownSquare and continue towards Caalan.

It's a much nicer walk too. 🌊

🌕 High Tide:
During particularly high tides, especially around December and January, the beachfront route can become difficult to pass.

When this happens, use the pathway beside The Marianne Suites and El Nido Garden Resort.

⚠️ GOOD TO KNOW BEFORE BOOKING

We want you to know exactly what to expect before arriving. No surprises. 🤙

❄️ AIR-CON HOURS

Dorm air-conditioning operates from:

7:00 PM → 10:00 AM daily

El Nido has a limited power supply, and as part of OIA's eco-friendly approach, we reduce unnecessary daytime energy consumption. 🌱

You'll still have air-conditioning throughout the night when you need it most.

🛏️ BED PREFERENCE

Top bunk? Bottom bunk?
You can request your preference, but specific beds cannot be guaranteed.
Beds are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, and we'll always try our best to accommodate your request.

🧺 TOWELS

Fresh towels are available at check-in with a refundable PHP 100 deposit.

Please don't take hostel towels outside the property. Lost or damaged towels will be charged accordingly.

🍔 FOOD & DRINKS

Please keep the midnight snacks and beer bottles outside the dorm. 😅

To keep our rooms clean, comfortable and pest-free, food and drinks are strictly not allowed inside dorm rooms or bed capsules.

We've got plenty of common areas where you can eat, drink and hang out.

A cleaning fee may apply if this rule isn't followed.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or terminate a stay, without refund where appropriate, in cases of abusive, threatening, harassing, seriously disruptive or disrespectful behavior, deliberate property damage or serious violations of hostel rules.

📅 CANCELLATION

Free cancellation with at least 14 days' notice however deposit made thru hostelworld wont be refunded since its their commission.

Payment instructions will be sent by email. Reservations that remain unpaid after the payment deadline may be subject to cancellation.
