Set just a few minutes’ walk from the centre of Valdivia (about 320 metres from downtown), Hostel Notro Valdivia gives you a well-located base for exploring the city’s riverside, local cafés, markets and historic streets.

You can choose from a variety of room types — single, double (or twin), triple or family rooms — all kept non-smoking, with shared bathrooms and basic comforts: flat-screen TV, clothes rack or wardrobe, and clean bedding provided.

For travellers who like independence, there’s a well-equipped shared kitchen to prepare your own meals, plus a communal lounge/TV area and a terrace for relaxing after a day out.

Hostel Notro is pet-friendly — great for travellers bringing dogs or cats — and provides free Wi-Fi throughout the hostel.
