Nestled in the tropical heart of Uluwatu, Lay Day is more than just a hostel—it’s a full-blown social experience built for travellers looking to party, surf, and make unforgettable memories.

Our beautifully designed hostel offers 173 beds across a variety of accommodations, including 4, 6, and 8-bed dorms, as well as private rooms with ensuite bathrooms. All dorms are air-conditioned and furnished with top-quality linen to ensure an exceptional rest for our guests.

At Lay Day, we believe in providing facilities that rival those of a small resort. We offer underground parking, spacious entertainment areas, and a stunning tropical swimming pool featuring a sunken pool bar and an island in the center, making it the ultimate tropical playground.

The heart of our hostel is our amazing bar, where all the magic happens. This is complemented by our retail store, stocked with backpacking and beach essentials, as well as awesome Lay Day merchandise.

We’re known for our next-level social scene, fueled by our weekly events calendar, including pub crawls, pool parties, beer pong tournaments and much more. Our amazing staff, trained in the Lay Day way, drive the social atmosphere and ensure that every guest has an amazing and memorable experience.

 1.⁠ ⁠Reception is open 24 hours. Shall you arrive late in the evening, our staff member will be at the reception to welcoming you.
 2.⁠ ⁠Payment is due in full upon arrival and prior to checking-in. Cash and credit card payments accepted.
 3.⁠ ⁠Prices on Hostelworld.com are EXCLUSIVE of 10% government taxes and 5% service charges. Tax and Service will be charged upon check-in at the property.
 4.⁠ ⁠Bookings will automatically be cancelled in the event of a no-show by 07:00am the day after the check-in date unless otherwise notified beforehand of any delays or late arrivals
 5.⁠ ⁠Airport transfers are available upon request for 350,000 IDR. If needed, please send an email or WhatsApp message providing us with your full name, flight number, arrival time and arrival date
 6.⁠ ⁠It is required that guests, particularly those in groups are respectful in regards to noise when walking or driving through the driveway or parking area, especially after 23:00
 7.⁠ ⁠Please note that the reception/check-in desk is situated in the bar directly to the left as you enter Lay Day Uluwatu and walk up the main steps
 8.⁠ ⁠Guests are required to show official photo identification (passport, official government ID or drivers license) and credit card upon check-in.
 9.⁠ ⁠Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
10.⁠ ⁠Please inform us in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact us directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
11.⁠ ⁠No private parties are allowed on the premises and no outside alchohol is allowed.
12.⁠ ⁠Motorbike/scooter parking is possible on site. For car parking please kindly send an email or contact us (the number will be in your conditions) to make prior arrangements

CANCELLATION POLICY
Partial Charge - Equivalent to the First Night Stay for each bed/room booked on the reservation - If cancelled within 1 day of the arrival date

FREE CANCELLATION CUT-OFF TIME
Free cancellation is possible until latest 14:00 local time (GMT+8) the day before the check-in date. Any cancellations or amendments made after 14:00 local time (GMT+8) 1 day prior to the check-in date will incur a charge equivalent to the first (1st) nights stay for each bed or room booked under the reservation. This will be charged to the guests credit card used to guarantee the reservation.

NO-SHOWS & EARLY CHECK-OUTS
NO SHOWS will be charged one nights accommodation rate for each bed/room to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation.
Early Check-outs will be charged one nights accommodation rate for each bed/room to the credit card used to guarantee the reservation if the new check-out day falls within 24 hours of the day the request is made.

CANCELLATIONS / AMENDMENTS
Should it be necessary to cancel or amend your reservation, to avoid a cancellation fee of one nights accommodation please contact us latest by 14:00 local time (GMT+8) the day before arrival (24h). Please note that changes may result in a rate change depending on the current rate and availability at the time of change.

OTHER REQUESTS
Requests for specific bed types and or dorm preferences will be accommodated subject to availability on the planned arrival date.
