"Great stay – perfect location and super friendly!" I had a great time at Corner Hostel! The location is amazing — it’s literally just a few minutes’ walk from the main bus station, which made it really easy for me to arrive and leave the city. Also very close to the city center, supermarkets, cafes, and everything you might need. The hostel itself is super clean, modern, and well-organized. The beds are comfortable, with good lockers and air conditioning.

Would not recommend for solo women travellers unless you’re brave and want to be alone. I was the only person in the building for hours. There is no on site staff it appears. I booked the 8 bed women only room - I don’t think this exists. I was placed in a 14 bed dorm and am unsure if it was mixed or not. The amenities were moderately clean. If it were to actually be booked up I would wonder how 24 people would share two toilets and showers. I left and booked another property which was better.

Check-in was absolute disaster. The worker was not there. He said that he will be there in two minutes but he never did and I never saw him. He managed to communicate via WhatsApp to tell me to find some bed and leave cash there - no problem but it was very unprofessional to tell me that he will be there in 2m and he never was. Also there was an opened window which couldn’t be closed just above a loud bar. Earplugs didn’t help.
