Set against the backdrop of the snow-capped Ala-Too mountain range, our cozy, family-run hostel offers you an authentic insight into daily life in Karakol. Whether you're looking for a homely place to unwind with a cup of tea after a long hike, or a space to swap stories over a cold beer with fellow travelers, Camping Yard Hostel has got you covered.

Our hostel features a large outdoor communal green space (hence our name!), and we warmly welcome travelers with their own tents and camping gear to set up base with us.
Prefer to travel light? No problem—we also offer comfortable beds in our snug indoor dormitories.

Once a family home, Camping Yard Hostel combines the rustic charm of a traditional house with the convenience of hostel facilities. Guests have access to a fully equipped kitchen, free fiber-optic WiFi, laundry services, and multiple shared bathrooms; all of which are available to both indoor and outdoor guests.

Conveniently located just a 10-minute walk from the vibrant center of Karakol, we’re close to everything you need: a 24-hour supermarket, an upscale restaurant, a bohemian-style café, and a lively bar popular among travelers. There are endless things to do around Karakol and if you'd be interested in organising day-trips or excursions around the surrounding area, we are here to help.

We understand there’s no 'correct' way to travel. Everyone has their own style, and we welcome guests from all walks of life and nationalities. Whether you’re on a family vacation or a solo backpacking adventure around the world, we’d be delighted to host you for the duration of your stay.


📌 IMORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!

- Check-in: After 12:00 PM. Please notify us of your arrival time at least 12 hours in advance so we can arrange your check-in.
- Check-out: By 10:00 AM. Want to extend your stay? Just let us know as early as possible.
- Breakfast: Available upon request for $4 USD per day.
- Laundry: Included free with your stay.
- Children: Children aged 6 and over are welcome. Families must book the entire room if staying with children (e.g., even if just one adult and one child, all four beds in a dorm room must be booked).
- All guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Payment: Accepted upon arrival via cash (Kyrgyz Som) or card.
- Parking: Available upon request.
- Extra mattress: Available on request for an additional fee, subject to availability
- Quiet hours: 11pm to 7am.
- Languages spoken: Russian and English.
