Easy access to the subway that takes you straight into Manhattan/Penn Station. The hostel was clean and tidy, and not cramped like many others I've stayed at. Most of my activities ended up being in Manhattan, so it wasn't the most convenient to be 30min away from everything, but it wasn't a hardship when I knew I was in a decent neighborhood and had a comfortable bed waiting for me.

I manage my expectation booking this hostel. It exceeds far beyond my expectation. Staff are very accimodating, room and hallways are clean, large dedicated space for socialization and workspace. Location is 5mins away from nostrand stn. Eill definitely go back here given the chance. An absolute value for money. They even have dedicated snackbar available anytime of the day.

I really struggled to sleep at this hostel. The corridors are extremely noisy and you hear doors slamming all the time. On top of that, they had the not so great idea to screw the bunk beds together, so that if you're on top, it shakes badly everytime any of your roommates tosses in their bed. After two restless nights, I was so sleep deprived I ended up putting my mattress on the floor.. At least it was comfortable. The rest of it was OK, but the neighborhood is really sketchy, didn't feel safe
