I arrived pretty late at night and the area is really deserted. As a solo female traveler I definitely didn’t feel very safe. There aren’t many places to go in the area at all. I think the location makes the most sense for people who want to go surfing, but for others it’s not great. The toilet seat had yellow spots all over it which came off when I cleaned it with some disinfectant wipes. Not very appealing. I ended up leaving after one night because I didn’t feel safe.

When I entered my room there was an awful smell. I tried to charge my phoen, but only one of the four power plugs was working. After staying in the room for 15min, I noticed my throat/lungs getting irritated by the air in the room. Coming back after dinner, having the AC on for 2 hours, the smell was still there. Only after I asked the hostess if she did not smell anything as well I could change rooms. This room was normal, though there was no warm water. Especially for the price I expected more
