First time staying in a “pod” and they didn’t provide more room then a typical hostel bed expect that the ceilings were higher. It also felt pretty warm inside the pod at night and you could hear a lot through the walls with about 20 others per room, so bring ear plugs!

So I finally stayed here because it’s SO EXPENSIVE typically. They have the free beer hour which really creates an excellent way to meet people if you’re a solo traveller. The facility is extremely nice and fully air conditioned, so that’s nice during the hot months. But I wouldn’t pay more than I did staying in August. I guess it’s better for millennial seeing as the people are typically older. Would I stay here again if it was 200 bucks a night? No. It’s great. But not that great.

Pros: - great hostel in a prime (and busy) spot of Tokyo accessible to everything - Staff was incredibly friendly - everything was very clean and cool! - Free beer hour is an amazing way to meet people and not something I see at other hostels in Tokyo!
