It’s a good place to stay in all the usual ways but I unfortunately cannot recommend it. First, it appears as a hostel in hostelworld but it is not a hostel. it’s two separate rooms with a shared bathroom. Second, the owners want cash on arrival, but don’t give a receipt. That’s illegal, to my knowledge. I asked repeatedly for a receipt and after a string of messages I finally received one when I left. But I guess it is invalid because there is no date on it. Whether that was an accident?

Excellent place to stay at and enjoy of Salerno, the night life and the beach. It's really good located, in front of the sea and the beach access. However I must say is a little bit hard the communication if you don't speak Italian and, in our experience, we had to change the room after two days because an overbook situation. In other hand, the landlord got two dogs which barked us too much not allowing to pass to our room. Apparently they are friendly, but it's scary a rotwailler coming to you.

Shared apartment with one other group of guests. Very clean and homely, in the old town so plenty of local atmosphere and close to the beach. Staff on site very friendly and helpful.
