Jacobin Hostel and Cabins is located in the center of Agujitas, commonly known as Drake Bay. It's a two-minute walk from the beach, and just around the corner, you'll find supermarkets, restaurants, a bakery, a pharmacy, and an ice cream shop. We offer private rooms and dorms. Each room has a small fan, a locker, and a hot shower. You can cook in our shared kitchen and sit, chat, and eat on our covered patio. We have good Wi-Fi and free coffee.
We organize all tours to Corcovado National Park (Sirena Station $115, San Pedrillo Station $100), Caño Island for snorkeling $100, scuba diving $155, or whale and dolphin watching $120.
We also offer horseback riding for $65, night hikes for $55, birdwatching for $55, mangrove tours for $115, and some off-the-beaten-path tours to local farms or hidden waterfalls. The 2-day, 1-night Sirena Station overnight tour costs between $345 and $390, depending on the number of people. Prices include park entrance, transportation, lunch, equipment, and a certified guide (Note: where applicable).
Some tour prices may be lower for groups.
The town is small and authentic, surrounded by lush nature. Don't plan your stay too short—there's plenty to do! There are no ATMs or banks in Drake Bay, so bring plenty of cash. Card payments incur a 13% VAT on tours. IMPORTANT: If you wish to visit Corcovado National Park or Caño Island, you must notify us at least three days in advance during the low season or one month in advance during the high season. It is recommended... There are only 120 tickets per day.
To request space at Corcovado, we require the full name and passport number of all guests wishing to visit the park. The park office is only open from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
