We were in the penthouse private room with shared bathroom. The location is great for access to the port and most tours starting at Sarandë beach. Not the nicest end of town (but safe). The bathroom had an awful smell but was clean (possibly plumbing?). Was great having access to a washing machine and clothes rack. There was no social aspect to this hostel so if that’s what you’re after, maybe choose somewhere else. We were woken up most nights by other guests. Staff were very responsive.

This place has a super nice vibe! Its close to plenty of good restaurants and a beautiful local beach- highly recommend staying at Hasta la Vista!

There was no locks on the doors and often no one in the reception so technically anyone can walk into the room. The outside doors do close at night so this is only during the daytime. Also I would say it is a bit too far from the centrum, but the walk is fine. Otherwise, great hostel with lovely staff!
