Was only passing through Pune, but Zostel was clean and good value for money, there’s a nice little cafe with garden at the back, and a good restaurant 50m away upstairs with outdoor terrace

Zostel Aurangabad is managed by boys who are still studying. Naturally to every problem they reply “I can’t help, I don’t know”. They could not call reservation team or the owner. If below18 years is not allowed in their policy, they should make it an apparent clause while booking instead of hiding it among many clauses. They should seek age of every traveler at the time of booking and reject booking outright rather at 9pm after one reach. Rooms become claustrophobic if AC/Electricity fails.

The staff is really friendly and helpful. Easy to join on the tours they organize to the caves. The city itself positively surprised me. The jamming session on Sunday was amazing, such a talented group of musicians. I;m not positive about the on site restaurant (by another operator I guess): super slow service and the staff cares more about their phones than serving guests
