Although I normally pick more "esthetic" hostels looks wise. My partner convinced me to go for this one as the price was better. And we are so glad we did. The staff was PHENOMENAL. Ostel by OstiC has an impeccable atmosphere. Very unique place and layout that will help you feel far away. The space is conducive to focus and relaxing. They didn't have the hammock out while I was there (due to rain season I take it). Not the most social hostel but the hosts have been friendly and I feel comfortable hanging out here. If you've ever wanted to try playing an Angklung (the bamboo instrument), there is one available to play!

Staff were super lovely and gave great recommendations for places to visit & eat (even telling me of a vegan restaurant nearby) The accommodation itself is awful, the worst place I’ve ever stayed. It’s not only very dirty it’s dated (marks all over the walls, rusting). You get a dirty looking blanket to sleep under that doesnt even cover the bed. Not even a sheet to sleep under! The whole place stank of smoke as people are allowed to smoke in the common area outside the kitchen. Awful sleep
