The hostel name says it- a very peaceful place to stay. If you like living calmly, around some very well behaved children, close to the beach, this is the place. We had a very nice room with a balcony and a big bathroom. Fun trip to the Dark Cave and Phong Nha (approx $64 pp). Very quiet surroundings. Staff are very friendly.

I truly enjoyed my stay here! Peaceful House Homestay is centrally located, affordable, clean, and outfitted with toiletries should you forget your own. I believe they even provided some drinking water that I didn't have to buy, which was nice. Staff are kind and welcoming--two of whom lugged my suitcase up the winding steps to my room on the top floor. I wish I would have stayed here for an extra day to enjoy more of what Dong Hoi has to offer. If you get the chance, take the stairs to the roof and savor v
