One of the worst hostels I have stayed in. No hot water in the entire place + it’s 10° and they leave windows open in all bathrooms. Kitchen appliances don’t work. I went to use the blender and the woman at reception said (it doesn’t work but we keep it there for display) This didn’t feel like a hostel but more a (half way house) with some questionable characters who looked like they were there for rehab. You cannot use the hot tub as you need to book 2 days in advance which is ridiculous.

Very secure and very clean. In a nice quiet location outside some of the chaos of the rest of bogota so always felt safe in the local neighbourhood. Some of the more touristy areas (Santa Fe) can be pretty dodgy. Only big negative was basically whole stay without hot water so freezing showers.

I got robbed of a lot of money at this hostel, by another guest. the hostel doesn't have a real security system for their lockers, the only think that holds it in place is two screws. if you take out those two screws you can easily open the locker, even if you have a really good lock. I wouldn't recommend the hostel because of that especially since they don't take any responsibility for the fact that they have a faulty security system. it is really clean though, I have to give them that.
