Solo Guy Traveller - dont usually expect much - but this place wasnt a top tier spot. Staff was nice, kitchen was clean, and location was okay. Getting into the top beds is awkward with sliding doors and a weird ladder but no hand rail. It was okay for me becaus I am tall, but shorter people would be awkward. Bathroom was really small also.

Pretty weird vibes, the beds were like coffins but open at the feet end to the other bed? Toilet was super small, the whole place was really dark and the balcony was super loud due to the AC plant. Wouldn’t stay again.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that this inexpensive hostel was very well run. I had a private room with a huge queen or kingsized bed and an adjoining bathroom....all for about 35 dollars USD. It is less expensive if you pay in cash. A breakfast is even included of fresh fruit, a fried egg, and a couple of pancakes! The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. I reserved the same room for when I got back from San blas Islands.
