Our stay here was pleasant and made better by the other guests staying. Unlike other reviews we were lucky to come when there were other people to socialize with. The staff does not speak English which is okay, although makes for limited information about the hostel and area. The staff is not always present either. Gym/ tv room was closed for no apparent reason and laundry hours on the weekend are minimal. Bathrooms were clean and showers nice, my bed was comfy but my partners was very hard.

Ok if you're just looking for somewhere to sleep in a good location. Maybe it was just unfortunate timing but we hardly saw another person, including staff (luckily we didn't need help with anything or have any questions!). Also the sensor lights outside the room come on every time someone walks past and the blinds don't block it out. We would stay elsewhere next time.

Lovely hostel, great location, friendly staff and a well-stocked kitchen. Just be aware that the reception closes quite early at the weekend, you’ll still be able to check in, though (someone buzzed us in and the key was in the room door).
