Hammock Hostels

Good stay in quite a good area. Most punters seem to be digital nomads so not a crazy amount going on. Dorms clean, tidy and air conditioned.

The hostel is clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with quiet rooms and friendly staff (especially Rohit). Location is convenient, though showers and toilets are a bit far. The included breakfast is laughable—only bananas and toast despite a full kitchen. Also, it’s not very social; no events are organized despite claims otherwise. Instead, a GetLocal rep tries to sell overpriced “cinematic” tours that you can easily do yourself for a fraction of the cost.

Arjun was pur main point of contact in the hostel. He was fantastic and helped me book transport. All of the staff were friendly. I stayed in female dorm with an ensuite it was kept to a clean standard with plenty of regular checks by cleaners. It was in a good location just a 20min walk (or 6minute taxi/tuktuk ride)to Bandra west which is great for food and nightlife. The guests were fun to hang out with too everyone had similar vibe. 10/10 thank you Hammock Hostel.
