Welcome to Pacifico Hostel - Juan de Dios, a stunning eco-hostel set on the only white sand beach in the Bahia Malaha National Park. Our beachfront property, spanning over 60,000 square meters of untouched nature, offers the perfect blend of sustainability, adventure, and relaxation.

At Pacifico Hostel - Juan de Dios, we are deeply committed to environmental conservation. Our eco-hostel runs on solar energy, collects rainwater, and utilizes eco-friendly compost toilets to minimize our ecological footprint. We do not sell single-use plastics; everything we offer is locally made to support our zero-waste mission. Our team also regularly organizes beach clean-ups to remove ocean plastic and help preserve this natural paradise.

Guests enjoy exclusive access to a pristine beach and private mangroves, ideal for peaceful kayaking or connecting with nature. As night falls, marvel at the bioluminescent plankton lighting up our beach—a magical, unforgettable experience. For explorers, hidden beaches and a local village are just a 30-minute walk away. Water sports enthusiasts can rent paddleboards, try wakeboarding, and explore the stunning National Park.

While we offer a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, we also love hosting intimate beach bonfire parties under the stars. Join us for a one-of-a-kind experience where sustainability, adventure, and a dream-like beach life come together.

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

One very good volunteer host there the week I went. Nice to have a quiet beach. Cabin design allows one loud person to be heard in all rooms. Too much late night cellphone use going on weekends. Weeknights and days are sublime.

Nice location! The staff was not very friendly and facilities were minimal. It is indicated that you can rent towels but there was a party the weekend before i arrived, therefore there were no towels. You could also only buy beer (no non-alcoholic alternative besides water or any other kind of beverage), also due to the party. When i asked something, they told me to wait because the staff member of the bar was in her break. However, there were 4 other volunteers just chatting?

You can’t deny the place is a paradise, beautiful location and great beach however lack more attention. The beach was dirty in some areas and I think it would be nice to have garbages or something to collect waste or even encourage visitors to help clean the beach. No toilet paper in any bathroom unless you ask. I wanted to drink water but no cups to use. The volunteers weren’t as helpful as I wish they were and some of them just wanted to party and smoke
