This is a technically great hostel for exploring the beautiful lower Engadin. It's modern, clean, warm, plenty of showers and WCs, and located right at the transport hub at Scuol-Tarasp station with plenty of bus and train links for hiking, biking, etc. The vibe is rather a sports and family oriented hostel - if you expect a city backpacker hostel vibe, you'll be disappointed. But as a quiet place to enjoy this beautiful region, it's perfect!

It was my first stay in a Jugendherberge. I am a "young" 74-year-old woman and I very much appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and being among people from all over the world. Everyone was friendly and helpful, in particular the lady working in reception. I had a single room "en suite". It was clean and quiet. The location was perfect, near the station and within easy walking distance of the center of Scuol. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
