OTEL SEMA

I had a very disappointing experience with this hotel.I booked through Hostelworld and paid half of the agreed price in advance. The total price confirmed in my reservation was 750 Turkish Lira. However, when I arrived at the hotel, I was unexpectedly told that the price had doubled and that I had to pay 1,500 Turkish Lira instead.This was completely unacceptable. The staff refused to honor the confirmed booking price and did not offer any reasonable solution or compromise.

Highly do not recommend. I booked through the app. I called&messaged through whatsapp to confirm the reservation and that there will be somebody at the reception when I arrive (late evening). They saw my messages but never responded. When I arrived they claimed they never received my booking and didn’t respond because they don’t speak english (I texted in turkish). They said I should cancel app reservation and pay the original price to the hotel (3 times the price stated on the app).

I don't know which part isn't good, either hostelworld or the hotel it self. I arrived there and they said they didn't receive my booking number. and then they ask me to pay doubled than the price when I booked it. The hotel it self not clean, kinda hotel under construction. My room even not lock when I arrive there ufff so bad. I would say not recommended guys even they show a cheap price but in the end you should pay really expensive. Better book another hotel!
