The Solitaire is a small, independently run boutique hotel set in a beautifully restored 1912 building in Gastown. Each room has been thoughtfully brought back to life while preserving the building’s original character, combining comfortable beds, bold interiors, modern amenities and playful details. The compact rooms feature private in-room sinks and offer either lively Gastown street views or quieter courtyard views, while most rooms share beautifully finished bathrooms, with approximately one bathroom for every three rooms. The Solitaire Policy and Conditions:
Cancellation policy: 72 hours prior to arrival. In case of late cancellation or no-show, the first night of your stay will be charged.
Check-in: 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Check-out: 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Payment on arrival with cash, credit and debit cards.
