I called to say that I was arriving late (on my way) and they told me they had no room for me. He told me they would give me a room at his brother’s guesthouse but we would have to pay more. He wouldn’t cancel and told me to cancel it (which means I lost my deposit). They list the property on the website and booking.com. Both sites said there were plenty of rooms left for that night… thankfully we found a different place to stay but I never got the deposit back. Watch out for this here.

Superb location and a beautiful clean house with a very friendly host and excellent local home cooked food, stunning views from roof terrace and only 3km from Ait Ben Haddou, 30 minute walk, would absolutely recommend to any travellers wishing an authentic Moroccan experience, I will definitely visit again just for how peaceful it is here and the beautiful starry night sky Many thanks for your welcome and hospitality Carl Liverpool
