Nemasu is an eco lodge, just 40 minutes from the airport, but a world away from the hassling crowds of Senegambia and the toursit strip.

We have a range of housing options, including en-suite traditional African roundhouses, ocean front villas, and more affordable rooms with shared bathroom. Many have views to the Atlantic Ocean.

We have a great restaurant, serving mainly organic local food; everyday we have a great African meal for lunch; local fresh fish (Gunjur is a famous fishing village); local fruit and vegetables- straight from the farm. We recycle our water & feed waste to a state of the art banana septic field.

We have a beach bar, serving fruit juices, beer, plus cocktails to enjoy whilst soaking in the sun & the view.
We have massage; rent bikes and stand up paddle boards, organize tours & activites.

Activities include fishing (of course!), bird watching, drum lessons, or just walking through the village or beach.
