We are Sohla Rooftop Hostel, the newest and hottest beachfront hostel in San Juan Del Sur! You'll find San Juan Del Sur on the southwest coast of Nicaragua, a popular tropical surfing and fishing town. SJDS is one of the most popular cities in Nicaragua, with many nearby pacific beaches that attract surfers, fishermen and ocean-lovers from afar.

A 3-story beach-front hostel with a wide-open roof bar and glass pool,large shared kitchen and multiple areas to socialise with other travellers. 9 rooms, with a mixture of private dorm and shared dorm. Additionally, the hostel offers beach shuttles, surf lessons, fishing trips, and more.

We have Activities during the week like: Taco Tuesday and on Thursday you have the chance to win Sunday Funday tickets. We have a Ping Pong tournament.

The hostel is walking distance to many local hikes, such as 'Cristo de la Misericordia', 'Tiger Cave' or 'El Faro'. Find local cuisines around the corner from the hostel, and many bars within 1km from your sleeping destination.

Het Sohla Rooftop Hostel in San Juan Del Sur heeft een fantastische locatie aan het strand met een prachtig uitzicht op de zonsondergang vanaf het zwembad op het dak. Gasten prijzen vaak het vriendelijke en behulpzame personeel, de comfortabele bedden met privacygordijnen en de airconditioning. Hoewel de locatie uitstekend is, vermelden enkele recente beoordelingen problemen met de netheid, met name van het zwembad en de badkamers, en af en toe geluidsoverlast van nabijgelegen uitgaansgelegenheden.

Personeel is aardig. Handige opties zoals wassen en een shuttle naar het strand. Echter heeft het hostel zoveel meer potentie. De airconditioning is zó koud en maakt echt ongelofelijk veel herrie in de kamer achter de keuken, niet te doen. De wc’s zijn vaak vies. Het zwembad is ook echt smerig, en de rooftop is niet gezellig. Vaak geen personeel achter de bar voor een biertje of een gezellig muziekje.

Small rooms, a little bit old and the rooftop/pool is not that clean. Very helpfull staff and a topnotch location at the beach. Could be better but overall a good place

Good place for the vibes. Met a lot of fellow travelers around the breakfast and in the lobby. Partyplace Patchamama is round the back. Tour to local beaches is well worth the money, even if you don’t surf. Not the cleanest place but good enough for a great couple of nights. I recommend the dorm above the kitchen. Slightly more private with bathroom. Matrass was unexpectedly good!
