The 60 in Penang biedt comfortabele bedden met persoonlijke ventilatoren en kluisjes. De locatie is handig, dicht bij voorzieningen en food courts. Recente gasten meldden echter problemen met onbeleefd personeel en gebrek aan warm water.

This is one of the worst hostels I've visited during six months of travelling. First I got a wrong room (can happen..) but it was very difficult to talk about this and the reception was not friendly at all. In my second room my fan was broken and the electric cables next to the bed were broken too. Dangerous! I told them but no solution came. The sink was yellowish stained in the bathroom.. very dirty. The boss or whatever was reachable by whatsapp but didn't respond after I wanted to cancel.

Would definitely not recommend this place. There was no hot water for the showers. The staff were really rude and unapproachable, arrogant. I asked a simple question because the power sockets wouldn’t work to charge my phone and he the staff member was so rude towards me. He basically accused. It was my fault when it wasn’t. And said it’s my chargers fault when it wasn’t as tried another power socket and it worked. He then woke up another traveler who was trying to sleep his self very unacceptab
