The staff of The Yellow Banana are very nice and helpful. They organize a lot of activities, so it’s a great hostel for socializing. However the hygiene is below average. We stayed in the private room which didn’t seemed to be cleaned properly. There were dead insects on the walls and in the shower and there was mold everywhere.

Yellow Banana is the perfect hostel for solo travelers! I ended up spending two amazing weeks here. The location is great, the family dinners bring everyone together, and the activities organized by the hostel make it so easy to meet new people. It truly feels like one big family. A special thank you to Jhaycee for the kindness, positive energy, and making everyone feel so welcome. I’ll definitely choose Yellow Banana again!
