We are a nature reserve and protected area located in the cloud forest of Mindo, Ecuador.
We are a remote location of 51-hectares with 25km of hiking trails in both secondary and primary forest with access to the National Forest.
There are swimming areas available in Rio Nambillo and incredible opportunities for birding throughout the property. Guests are free to explore the grounds and activities Reserva Las Tangaras has to offer throughout their stay, even for night hikes.

Reserve does not have electricity or WiFi available, but has a cell signal booster, safe drinking water and hot showers for all lodging types.
It is necessary to hike 2km to reach the lodging and camping areas from the road 'Via Las Cascadas'. This is a great opportunity for birding and experiencing the tranquility of the cloud forest.

We offer multiple accommodation options:
-Inside Cabana, Mixed Dorm: includes mattress, bedding, mosquito net, towel, and access to indoor bathroom.
-Camp Shelter: includes mattress, mosquito net, and access to the outdoor bathroom. Bedding available for $2. You can bring a tent if you prefer.
-Tent camping: $10 per tent

Cancellation policy: 2 day(s) before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
