We welcome solo backpackers, couples and very small groups of up to 3 friends booking together. Booking with multiple reservations to bypass this rule is not allowed and will be cancelled by us.

Created by the team behind Barefoot Backpackers, Strand shares the same social vibe and community feeling, but in a bigger setting that welcomes a wider mix of travellers. Whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple or with a few friends, there’s room for you here.

Located just a 2-minute walk from Hiriketiya Beach, Strand is the perfect base to enjoy the beach, meet fellow travellers and make the most of your time in Hiriketiya.
