Whether you're travelling solo, with friends, or as a family, we offer a variety of accommodation options to suit every need. Choose from Double or Twin Private Rooms, Standard Quadruple Rooms, Family Rooms with Shared Bathroom, or comfortable Male, Female, and Mixed Dormitories—all thoughtfully designed to provide a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Make yourself at home with free WiFi, a fully equipped shared kitchen, and inviting shared living and dining areas where you can unwind or connect with fellow travellers. Guests also enjoy access to a garden, fitness room, children's play area, and outdoor seating, while our charming on-site café and restaurant serve delicious meals and homemade treats. Additional conveniences include free parking, laundry facilities, and a welcoming pet-friendly environment.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE:
Rooms/beds are available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, rooms/beds must be vacated by 12:00 PM. You may leave your luggage in the hostel’s storage room if you wish. For security reasons, only registered guests are allowed to stay in the hostel premises and rooms. All guests must carry a valid ID.
The hostel operates with self-service check-in. You will receive check-in instructions by email or phone before arrival. We are happy to assist you if you have any difficulties checking in.
CANCELLATIONS:
Guests may cancel a one-night room or bed reservation free of charge no later than 12:00 PM the day before arrival. Exceptions apply to reservations with limited cancellation policies; these restrictions will be clearly stated at the time of booking.
If a guest fails to arrive, the hostel reserves the right to charge one night’s stay and cancel the reservation. The hostel also reserves the right to cancel reservations if payment is not made immediately. Payments are non-refundable in case of modification, cancellation, or no-show.
If you made your reservation through a third-party platform (e.g., Booking.com, Airbnb, Hostelworld), please contact them directly for changes or cancellations.
PETS:
Pets are welcome to stay in our pet-friendly rooms when you book the entire room for your group. Well-behaved pets are also allowed in the café accompanied by their owners. If you are traveling with a pet, please contact us before making your reservation.
LIABILITY FOR VALUABLES:
Hostel Café Huvila is not responsible for any damage to or loss of your valuables during your stay. Please take care of your belongings!
GUEST RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGES:
As a guest at Hostel Café Huvila, you are responsible for any damage caused by yourself, your travel companions, or your pets to the hostel premises, whether intentional or accidental. The hostel reserves the right to charge for damages caused. We kindly ask you to treat our property with care!
CHILDREN:
Children are warmly welcome to stay at the hostel when accompanied by an adult. Only guests aged 18 or over are allowed to stay in shared dormitories. Older children may stay in shared rooms with a guardian. Families with small children are encouraged to book a private room. Travel cots for small children are available upon request; please notify us in advance if needed.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES:
You can book additional services during your stay; we are happy to assist with any questions or needs. Laundry services are available for an extra fee (€5 per load). Room cleaning is not included in short stays — we clean floors as needed. Bed linen changes are available upon request and for an additional fee during short stays.
LATE ARRIVALS:
Our hostel operates with self-service check-in. Before arrival, you will receive check-in instructions and codes for the hostel and room doors. Please be considerate of other guests if you arrive late.
FORCE MAJEURE, HOSTEL RULES, AND LEGAL RIGHTS:
We uphold good conduct and hostel rules. If a guest violates these rules, they may be removed from the premises immediately. In such cases, the guest is still obliged to pay for their accommodation and any ordered additional services. No refunds will be issued.
The hostel is not liable for any failure to perform obligations due to force majeure or circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, acts of terrorism, fire, or failures in electricity, water, or other services, equipment, or building collapse.
The hostel is not responsible for loss or damage to property left on the premises except as required by applicable law. Finnish law applies exclusively. Guest information is retained for at least 12 months and may only be disclosed upon official request or as required by law.
Hostel Café Huvila reserves the right to change prices, terms, and information. All customer data is handled with strict confidentiality.

Cancellation policy: 72 hs before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Payment upon arrival by credit and debit cards.

Taxes included

Breakfast not included. 14.50 euros per person.
