Saul, the owner, is a great guy and the hostel is in a great location and with a great view! He also offered a walk around the markets and to the viewpoint for sunset. Rooms are clean, so is kitchen and you get free drinking water.

I had a great time at Casa Xolo! I booked a private room and found it was comfortable, clean, and fully stocked with anything you might need. They also have a full kitchen with all the appliances if you want to cook meals and a nice rooftop you can eat at. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone wanting to explore the city but sleep somewhere quieter!

Very Well located. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the city center while still being located far enough to be quiet at night. The host Saúl was very helpful and answered all our stupid questions with a smile. He also provided recommendations for restaurants and explained how to take public transport to monte Albán. We only have good things to say about this hostel, and hopes to come back in the future.
