Home Hotels offers affordable accommodation for independent travellers and guests travelling on a tight budget.
This is a Bring Your Own (BYO) sleeping accommodation.
To keep our prices low for our backpackers, our rooms do not automatically include hotel-style bedding or other unnecessary extras.

Please bring your own:

If needed, a blanket set can be rented:
Blanket set rental – per set:

⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT PAYMENT INFORMATION
All bookings must be paid in full before arrival, including applicable taxes and credit card transaction fees.

If your credit card payment does not go through, we will contact you by email. If we do not receive a response and prepayment cannot be arranged, your reservation may be cancelled.

PAYMENT BEFORE ARRIVAL
To keep your booking valid and confirmed, payment will be charged to the credit card provided in your booking before arrival.
Prepayment includes: both the remaining room balance, and the "paid at property" taxes.
Tax charges will include (accommodation taxes: VAT, service fees, and applicable credit card processing fees).

• Fee: 150 EUR or 22,000 ISK per person, per day (ages 2+)
• All extra guests must be approved and paid in advance
• Unauthorised guests (including children, friends, or family) are strictly not allowed

⚠️ IMPORTANT POLICY REMINDERS
• Bringing unapproved guests will result in immediate cancellation and eviction without refund
• Arriving outside check-in hours without prior arrangement (IE: request and accepting the charges ) may result in denied entry without refund
• Guests under the influence, using drugs, or smoking indoors will be removed immediately without refund

Emergency Storage (only if absolutely necessary):
• Laptop/Camera Bag: 1,000 ISK/day
• Small Bag: 2,000 ISK/day
• Regular Bag: 3,000 ISK/day
• Large Items (bikes, etc.): 5,000 ISK/day

After Check-Out:
• Short-term (until 22:00): 3,000 ISK per person/day
• Long-term (3+ days): 2,000 ISK per bag/day
