The hostel owner was very rude and unwilling to help-we booked through this app and she hadn’t noticed so manhandled my friend and dragged her to the front desk while aggressively shouting in Russian and threatening to kick us out immediately even though we had already been shown to our beds in the almost empty hostel by another staff member. There was no excuse for her behaviour and it took the intervention of other hostel guests for us to be safe. She also woke up the room at 1am for no reason

The hostel staff were incredibly rude and aggressive. The lady in charge tried to kick us out of the almost empty hostel claiming we hadn’t booked even though we had our reservation confirmation email through hostel world. No one was allows to use the hob or oven even though they were listed in the booking details. We had agreed with them that my friend and I could leave at 4:00am for our tour only to find they had locked us into the hostel with no one at their 24 hour reception to let us out

Not a bad place. I had to spend 15 minutes arguing with Google Translate to get a receipt. They don't really cater for multiple languages. That is not rudeness of the hosts, that is cultural. They are not very friendly and communication is difficult. It is not a very nice vibe there. The lockers are small. Unfortunately there are not curtains on the beds so when they decide to do cleaning at late hours, you will be woken up. It was clean but the kitchen facilities were not very good.
