We loved Hostel Hana An located near Kanamachi Train Station (can catch the JR lines and more into the centre of Tokyo) and many small cafes and shops. The kitchen is cute and a good use of space - functional to make what you need. The rooms are clean and have a traditional flair to them with the paper doors leading out to a deck and a meditation area. Toilet and shower are spotless, and the area feels like a small village even though you are in Tokyo. We loved it.

Arigatou gozaimasu! My first stay in Tokyo, it was close to Kanamachi station, laundromats, conbini, and the facilities were clean and secure :)
