Wow, it's hard to find the words to describe my experience staying at A'Scalinatella hosted, owned, and operated by the most wonderful brothers - Gabriele and Filippo! What can I say - Gabriele and Filippo are Italy! They are so kind, welcoming, charming, funny, cheerful, helpful, and go above and beyond to make you feel like family. This was my very first stop in Italy, and it was my very favourite memory! It was the classic Italian experience I thought only existed in movies.

This was a wonderful stay! We were traveling on a budget and this was the most beautiful location out of our whole trip for a great price point. The owner was so accommodating and kind, he even upgraded our room to a private dorm because the room was available, for no extra charge. This place is adorable, centrally located in Atrani, and breakfast is included!

The best “hostel” I have ever stayed at. The hosts are two of the most lovely human beings imaginable. Their warmth and kindness make this the best place to stay in all of the Amalfi Coast (I saw quite a bit of it during my stay, and there is nowhere I would have rather been based). When I am lucky enough to visit Amalfi Coast again, I will be staying here.
