I stayed in Happy Nomads for two nights with two friends. Karakol is a natural base for a trip around Issyk Kul or hiking in Ala Kul/Altyn Arashan and I would definitely recommend Happy Nomads as a great place to stay in Karakol. Tynch and the team are very welcoming and so helpful - they helped us arrange a few days of our trip and have really high standards for the camp. The yurts are very nice, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Great breakfast too (in the lovely summer yurt!)
