There are not that many places to stay in town, and this is unfortunately one of the better. Two of the dorms can easily be accessed from the backyard, which don’t give a very secure feeling. In the third the windows cannot be closed properly. One dorm is actually the hallway guests walk through to get to showers and two other dorms. Reading the reviews on HW, reveals a very dismissive attitude by the owners, denying problems exist and blaming guests - not very professional. Try somewhere else!

Experience wasn’t great. Location was good and the manager was nice, but I found a bed bug in my bed the first night. They offered a new bed and free laundry, which was nice. Though, they placed someone else in that same bed the same night! The also implied that I brought it because of my mosquito bites. One staff member also asked me what was wrong with my attitude and told me off, although I was just inspecting my own bag for bugs, and not saying anything. Was frankly a bit uncomfortable.

Very cool hostel, nice atmosphere and staff. Common areas are nice to hang out and chill while it's also not loud. The beds are old so not the most comfortable but it is acceptable. My only recommendation would be to enforce labeling the food for the fridge by leaving a marker by the fridge and putting up a sign. There was a lot of old food in the fridge but my leftovers disappeared over night.
