VERY strange experience. When I arrived to try to check in, the owner said it was “under construction” & moved me to a different hostel nearby that his family also owns? Gave me no warning or info until I showed up. It was very confusing & unexpected. The hostel he moved me to was nice (Terito) & a cute elderly couple ran the place. They spoke no English which was ok for me, I speak some Spanish. He still kept my included breakfast. Overall, weird experience I wouldn’t do it again & I was solo.

Was very much like a hotel (not a bad thing) but definitely not social, I barely saw a soul. Breakfast was nice. Good location. Clean room.

A nice hostel in a great location. The staff were friendly. The blue lights in the room and the bathroom were a bit off putting. The shower was cold and didn’t have great water pressure, making it difficult to wash the sand off from the beach. The security was good and we had no issues. But you do have to leave your key at the hostel reception when you go out, and there are times when the keys are accessible and no one is sitting at reception to check who is taking those keys.
