Really loved my time at mariandes. Alan is a great host, he knows everything about the area and can offer info at any time. The dorm beds were comfy and have curtains, and the showers were always hot The kitchen is nice and airy and has everything you need. The hostel is the tallest building around so the views from the kitchen and the roof terrace across the city and mountains are actually incredible. And when they finish building the rooftop bar this hostel will get even better!

Great hostel! It’s really clean with hot showers and comfy beds. The rooftop is beautiful and the hostel has a lovely friendly vibe. Really easy to plan and book hikes and Alan was really helpful throughout my whole stay. I highly recommend!

Great location in Huaraz for a good price. Rooms and common spaces were clean. Free breakfast each morning which was nice to have. Alan was helpful with booking the Santa Cruz trek and being flexible with us when a person in my group had some altitude sickness. Amazing views of the mountains and town from the kitchen and rooftop. Not the most sociable hostel but everyone we talked to was very nice, so a good spot to be able to relax
