Welcome to Casa Isabel, just a short stroll from downtown Santa Ana in western El Salvador. Our hostel, housed in a charming old building with high ceilings, offers spacious rooms, kitchen facilities, and shared bathrooms.

Relax in our garden oasis at the center of the hostel, where you can unwind and meet fellow travelers. Whether it's the owner or one of our friendly volunteers, there's always someone around to help make your stay enjoyable.

We have filtered water for our guests, but we do not have hot water in the showers, and we are constantly remodeling so that your stay is better when you visit Santa Ana.

In the cabins, we deliver sheets and towels, lockers, in a large room near the bathrooms to have a calm and good experience in our beautiful Santa Ana.

Casa Isabel Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation Policy: 2 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

We loved our stay here! The owner is so kind. He offers great local advice about El Salvador. We were a bit unsure at first because of other reviews about cleanliness, but decided to book because of the price. Honestly the property is clean enough and the owner works all by himself so we were very impressed! We never felt like the place was unsanitary and the rooms / sheets were very clean. The courtyard and kitchen were perfect, Max the dog was so cute, and we would recommend you stay here!

If you're not a smoker, I wouldn't recommend this place - all of the rooms front onto the courtyard where lots of guests were smoking (and also, this is the main space to hang out.) Otherwise, not a bad hostel and a friendly manager. The hostel (especially the showers) would have benefitted from more cleaning. The electric fly swatter was fun to use!Our private room has an open window onto the main road which was very noisy with bin lorries early in the morning.
