Cloud Tree Inn, XiChong Beach

The Cloud Tree Inn (YunShiLi) is three story Boutique Guesthouse is in a picturesque area of Xichong. There is ground floor court yard and a roof top terrace both with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

Mike was born in the UK but lived in Melbourne Australia most of his life. Chef, gardener, teacher and singer songwriter by trade, and now guest house owner. Mike has lived in Guangzhou China since 2011, but his Chinese is still not great (ha ha). Jen is local to Guangzhou and speaks Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

The Cloud Tree Inn (YunShiLi) Boutique Guesthouse is in a picturesque area of Xichong with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Xichong (西冲/西涌) is the only official “Dark Sky Area” in China.
Only 48km from Shenzhen (深圳) city center, it will take an hour to an hour fifteen to arrive by car.
Xichong beach is only 10 min walk from Could Tree Inn, and is one of the best beaches is China. It’s clean, beautiful and there is a patrolled area of the beach with lifeguards.

There are also areas for rock fishing or you can hire a boat for some ocean fishing.
If you’re interested in the stars there is the astronomical and meteorological observatory, which also has amazing views of the coastline.
If you’re in to hiking, cycling or trek running there are coastal and mountain tracks.
