Honestly, one of the best hostels I’ve been to. Maria was amazing on reception, when I turned up she was so welcoming, gave me a tour of the hostel and tips to help with my stay. All the staff at the hostel were welcoming, friendly and seemed to genuinely care about my trip. Everything was great and such a good feel to it.

Pros: friendly staff, good location in downtown Rotorua. Overall the place is clean, kitchen facilities are good. Cons: some mould in the bathroom. Some of the rooms don’t have a proper window, so they get hot and have no ventilation… in summer this is an issue. There’s also not much of a social vibe in the hostel. Will do the job if you’re only there for one or two nights.
