Ubud tropical was lovely. Only stayed here for 2 nights however, it was in a good location and walkable distance to the main area of Ubud. Easily accessible to grab cars and bikes when needed. Lovely jungle atmosphere and pool area. It was quite noisy at night with general outdoor noises from insects and animals which was to be expected. However, was quite loud so didn’t sleep too well. Overall it was clean, bathroom and bedrooms were okay however did find old stains on the bedsheets.

this hostel is good for the cheap price, however beds are very hard and uncomfortable, and the bathrooms need a good deep clean, the toilet seats were yellow,and only two toilets and two showers for a room of 10 people isn't a lot, there aren't many places to chill out other than in your bed, there is a small lobby with some seats and a sofa but once that is full there isn't anywhere else to sit at night, not the most social but good if you like I quiet vibe

It’s such a nice layout outside. Close to town yet super quiet. There is a reason the bathrooms are not shown in the pictures. There is an atrocious smell of almost propane or gas in the rooms. I had to move to another room which was still lingering, it made me nauseous. Really interfered with my health. Sadly made my Ubud trip unsatisfying. The staff was accommodating in moving me to a different room yet I couldn’t get away from the awful smell. It seems they are aware of it as well.
